For most of my life, if you asked, I would tell you I had a wonderful childhood. And I did. But that’s not the entire story. Although I knew the entire story, unknown to me, I was fragmented, and the pieces were scattered and disconnected.
Ginni, this was such a wonderful piece filled with so much honesty and depth. Its remarkable how you managed the fragmented life with such empathy, wisdom and skill. Thank you for bringing awareness to using meaningful words like “rape” instead of molestation. It’s so important to call something what it is and not water it down. Thank you so much for sharing this. You are a remarkable, strong and empathetic human and I am so proud to be your friend. 🤗❤️
Thank you for your honesty and your insights. You have been a mirror to me; a safe place to look at myself, my life and my relationships. My childhood traumas were small compared to yours but shaped my life and who I am nonetheless. I feel privileged to walk this journey with you.
