2023 was a challenging year, not only for my friends who dealt with significant and life-threatening health issues and the loss of loved ones, but also for our country and for the world. I won’t miss it. Welcome to 2024! Now that a New Year has begun, I wish I could express my usual 100% hopefulness for the future. But with wars continuing, hate rising, and the fractures in our country, the best I can eke out is cautious optimism.
I definitely feel a consistent presence of you holding my heart with love, as I hope you do in return. May 2024 take us into a better place of love, compassion, honesty, humility, progress, and transfomation as a human race.
Love this! I have 3 resolutions for the new year: 1. wake up each morning👍, 2. be grateful for being in love and being loved, and number 3, to give thanks each day for the many life events that guided me to where I am today.
I absolutely love this! We are held and supported by an unseeable force.
If we could step out of the shackles of our fear and into the spacious embrace of love, we could heal. “Even after all this time, the sun never said to the earth, ‘you owe me.’ Look what happens with a love like that. It lights the whole sky.” Hafiz
Sooo heartfelt, warm and beautiful---just like you. May 2024 bring you and Bob all the excellent health, happiness, love and laughter you both deserve.
Thanks again for your insight! I gave up resolutions at New Year's some time ago, at least out loud ones! Now I work to keep resolutions daily for thankfulness. Love your posts!
